The Phantom of the Ruhr was a Lancaster Mk3
which carried out 121 raids in total . It was
assigned to 100 squadron at Waltham on 31st
May 1943 and began with night raids on the Ruhr
cities .
The name and nose art were given by Sgt Harold
Bennett , Flt Engineer of W/O Ron Clarke . It then
became BQB Baker when C flight of 100
squadron became 550 squadron and was moved
to Killingholme in 1944.
While serving from this airfield the aircraft
passed its 100th mission on Sept 5th 1944 under
command of Flt Sgt Joe Hutcheson .       

Each of the Signature Series
is printed on 16" x 11" x  190 grams
high texture paper in its original ratio size and if
required cut to size .

The Signature Series print layout has no titles or
frames only the artists signature
and print issue number.

All of the Signature Series Print Editions are of
only 100 prints .

At the end of this run the image will not be
reproduced onto this format or size again
thereby maintaining each Artworks originality.
